Choose the Hard Path or the Hard Path

Updated: Sep 26, 2025

"Hello Divas! Choices can be tough!"

Life's full of choices between different kinds of hard...

Let's chat about it!

Imagine this: sweating it out at the gym is hard. But hey, feeling out of shape is no walk in the park either! Or how about this one - saving money can be tough, but being broke is a whole different level of stress!

And oh, those tricky conversations we dodge? They're hard, but you know what's even harder? Bottling up all that frustration and resentment. Yikes!

Let's get real, Ladies. When we dodge those tough talks with a friend, family member, neighbor or coworker it can lead to hard feelings, broken bonds and missed chances for real connections.

"But wait, there's more! While most things are challenging, there's one that's even more difficult. Growing pains are tough, but staying stuck is a whole different ball game! That's a whole different ball game! Being disciplined takes effort, but living with regret is a heavy burden."

Forgiveness? Not a walk in the park. But carrying around bitterness? That's like lugging around a ton of bricks!

The toughest choice you can make is to take the easy road that is hard too, especially with blinders on purposely.

Trust me, regrets will catch up with you faster than a squirrel with a nut stash! You’ll get the what-ifs and oh yeah, the woulda, coulda, shoulda reminders that the enemy will present you with. You can count on the thief that comes to kill, steal, and destroy.

Let’s talk about the "easier hard" path like:

a. Staying in a toxic relationship because leaving is too hard,

b. Staying in a job that sucks the joy out of your life because change seemed like a mountain to climb.

c. Avoiding therapy because facing your demons feels like telling your private business.

d.   Keeping dreams locked up because sharing feels like exposing your soul to an unknown naysayer who might pour water on your dreams.

This week, why not:

1. Pinpoint the hard things you need to change and make the decision to change, seeking God’s help.

2. Embrace your hard choice with open arms to the word of God and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

3. Remember, a bit of discomfort now can lead to a lifetime of awesomeness.

The better hard choice can set you “FREE”!

When making the hard choices, trust God, seek His wisdom, align yourself with the word in your decision-making, and act on faith even in uncertainty. Remember, the good stuff doesn't come easy. But neither does a life without your heart's desires. The difference? One kind of hard pushes you forward, while the other locks you in place.

Life's a rollercoaster, my friends, but let's make sure we're riding the loops with the word of God: this will lead to our best selves! ❤️

Take care, Divas, and remember, we're in this together.

 Love
