Divas Need to Be Checked On Too!

So, apparently, social media tells us that everyone is living their best life - sipping

coconut water on a beach, partying like it's 1999 every day, endless tea parties

and generally having a blast. But hey, reality check! Behind those filters, people

are struggling harder than a cat trying to walk gracefully on a treadmill. With the

holidays coming up, it's the perfect time to be a BLESSING. For some this might

be the first major holiday without their loved one and a little kindness will go a

long way. Remember, there's no rulebook dictating how often you should connect

with people - just trust your gut. If someone pops into your head like a surprise

guest, maybe it's time to make that call and say hi. Yet, we tend to procrastinate

because, who has time when you're juggling life, work, caring for children,

grandchildren or parents and deciding what to watch on Netflix next?

Fun Fact: Some folks can magically summon time for funerals, but ghost on living pals

faster than a ninja vanishes at midnight. Sure, a funeral is important, but so is checking

on the living - it's not like they can haunt you if you forget to call. So, even if you're

juggling more balls than a circus clown, remember, you have options to show you care

besides lengthy chats. Drop a text, send a card, or be bold and enter the world of

Facetime or Zoom.

Picture this: You’re drowning in your own problems when suddenly, you throw a life raft

to a friend, and poof, your problems suddenly don't seem so swim-worthy. Despite your

to-do list being longer than a CVS receipt, carve out time to be the “BLESSING” you

were always meant to be. A small gesture of kindness can be the glitter that makes

someone else's day sparkle.

Remember: It's not just the wise elders who need attention everyone deserves love;

even divas need to be checked on too. So, go forth, spread God’s love, and remember,

the Distinctive, Individual Virtuous Authentic ~women~ in your life check on her too!

Until next time... Lady Bella
