From Wish to Decision: How The Diva65 Project Became a Reality

The Lesson Is a Wish Changes Nothing, But A Decision Changes Everything.

I've been thinking about this fantastic idea for years. The excitement of getting started was overwhelming! However, there were some setbacks along the way, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, things came to a halt, but I always remembered the project. My vision became clearer as time and covid passed, but I wondered, "Am I taking on too much?" 

At this age, taking on this project and all the other things in my life is just plain nuts. I ask myself, "Lorraine, are you NUTS"? (Thank you, Lord, for not saying yes!) 

I decided to take my vision to God in prayer and get some wise counsel from my trusted family and friends because "Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors, they are established" (New King James Version Proverbs 15:22), and I got the answer and revelation! 

I'm not a nut, but a tough and resilient woman of God who is protective of the vision that God gave me. I realized that the idea wasn't about me! It's about all the people who this project will positively impact. 

See, my friend, "we" are not crazy; Just believers in God who want to protect the vision God has given us and help people. The idea? Thought you would never ask! It's this blog, the website, the hats, the bags, and the workshops! It's The Diva 65 Project! 

Remember, a wish is just a "wish" until you "decide" to go after it. People are waiting for your yes!
