Do you know any “Good News Spoilers”? Sometimes, we share our vision, dreams, or even exciting purchases with someone who responds negatively. These individuals have a knack for raining on our parade, inadvertently spoiling our excitement.

Have you ever experienced sharing your vision or dream with someone, only to have them turn the light out on your enthusiasm? It's time to cut to the chase! You must become mindful of who you share your visions or dreams with, as some people can be vision killers, even our dearest friends.
I am someone who gets excited about people, places, and things. Over the years, wisdom has taught me to be aware of the “Good News Spoilers” and not to share with everyone.
Let me share a story: Two friendly coworkers were having lunch. One had just purchased a luxury car and excitedly shared the news. Instead of congratulations, the other coworker remarked, “with a car like that, he is more likely to cheat.” This seemingly innocent comment came from a place of pain, as the coworker had experienced betrayal in her own marriage. While unintentional, it still dampened the excitement of her friend.
Sometimes, people speak from a place of pain and end up causing others pain. The lesson here is to be discerning about whom you share your good news with. It's not about holding grudges but understanding the underlying issues.
Although both women were saved, one was brokenhearted and had a crushed spirit. She needed prayer and comfort that only God could provide. The happy coworker didn't hold a grudge but instead planted seeds of godly wisdom into their conversations and ended each lunchtime with a prayer of encouragement and hope.
Let this be a lesson to us all: beware of "Good News Spoilers." They need our love, forgiveness, understanding, and prayer, not our "GOOD NEWS"!
