Welcome to the Season of Beginnings!

Spring Forward

As winter fades away, we fall back from the cold and spring forward into a season of renewal and growth. The aftermath of melting snow reveals the first signs of life—tiny buds pushing through the soil, fresh blades of grass stretching toward the sun, and the intense fragrance of blooming flowers filling the air. As the ground warms and thaws, nature awakens. Spring truly is the season of growth and renewal—even children are said to experience growth spurts during this time of year. It’s as if the earth itself exhales, releasing the stillness of winter and inviting us to do the same.

And let’s be honest—along with spring comes all the rain that nourishes the earth and reminds us that growth often requires a good soaking.

But as Divas, we know something about rain. While the earth may celebrate it, we are calculating humidity levels, checking the forecast, and strategically planning hair appointments. Because nothing will test your faith like stepping outside the hair salon with a brand-new hairdo and feeling that first unexpected drop of rain.

The rain may soak the ground—but we are trying to protect the new hairdo.

And yet, even in that, there’s a lesson. The same rain that threatens our edges is the rain that causes flowers to bloom. The same soaking that disrupts our plans is the soaking that produces growth. Sometimes what feels inconvenient is actually what’s necessary.

So yes, carry the umbrella. Guard the hairstyle. Protect the press.

But don’t resist the rain God sends to grow you.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19

Spring invites reflection. It reminds us that even after the coldest winters, life returns. Each blossom and each drop of rain reassures us that growth follows stillness, and beauty can emerge from what once seemed barren.

Just as the earth awakens, God reminds us that He is always at work, bringing forth new life in seasons we may not yet fully understand.

Celebrating the Season

Spring is a time to celebrate life’s simple joys. Step outside and smell the rain—and maybe dodge a few puddles while you’re at it. Notice how the air grows heavier with humidity, carrying rich, earthy scents that remind us of nature’s sacred cycle.

Let the freshness of the season inspire you to create, to begin again, to dream boldly, and to embrace the renewed energy spring brings—preferably before allergy season makes its grand entrance.

Beyond the pollen and the rain, spring invites reflection. It whispers of grace and second chances. It reminds us that even after the coldest winters, or the snowiest days, life returns. Each blossom, each drop of rain, feels like a small prayer of gratitude—a gentle assurance that growth often follows stillness and that beauty can emerge from what once seemed barren.

So as the days grow longer and the light lingers just a little more, allow yourself to grow with it.
